Description
The Boston Breakout has been one of North America’s most popular hockey events for more than a decade. As a five-game guaranteed showcase, the Breakout allows teams to test themselves in the early stages of the season with no pressure to qualify for playoff games. This event is open to AAA and AA teams.
Due to the disparity in play at the squirt level, SuperSeries Hockey will consider allowing high-level Squirt Minor teams to play at the Squirt Major level. This would only apply to teams who we expect to be ranked in the Top 25 on My Hockey Rankings.

Age groups/divisions will play at centrally located rinks.
All teams must be prepared to play at 8 a.m. on the first day of the event and all play is scheduled to end by 4 p.m. on the last day.
The schedule is released 7-10 days before the event begins.

Disclaimer: We have noticed an increase in teams that have inexplicably withdrawn from events at the last minute causing us to have to re-work the schedule. Please DO NOT make any plans that cannot be refunded based on the schedule you receive.
